9:00 A.M. Board Convenes

1. Request from Health and Human Services Agency to ratify the Proclamation of Local Emergency, caused by extreme low temperatures resulting in a winter freeze, executed on January 17, 2007 by the Tulare County Administrative Officer.

2. Request from the Tulare County Workforce Investment Board, Inc. to authorize the Human Resources and Development Department to process a Personnel Resolution containing deletions to the Workforce Investment Department personnel allocation for the remainder of Fiscal Year 2006/2007. Authorize the Human Resources and Development Department to initiate the County's lay-off process and where possible provide alternate employment within the County service.
